DUBLIN, Calif. (Diya TV) — Police are investigating a weekend burglary at a Hindu temple in Dublin, California, that left the community shaken and searching for answers. Thieves stole about $34,000 in cash and jewelry from the Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Temple early Sunday morning, authorities said.

The break-in happened around 4:40 a.m. at the temple located at 6930 Village Parkway, according to Dublin Police Services. Investigators confirmed that burglars targeted valuables inside the temple, including money and jewelry.

Detectives said there is no evidence at this time to suggest the burglary was motivated by religious prejudice. The case remains under investigation.

The Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Temple is an important spiritual and cultural center in the Bay Area. It offers Hindu religious services, educational classes, and community programs. The temple is well known for its nine-foot statue of Panchamukha Hanuman, a five-headed monkey deity revered for strength, courage, and devotion.
