WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — The Trump administration has launched what it calls the “largest massive deportation operation in history,” with hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals, including gang members and a suspected terrorist, already apprehended. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that deportation flights are underway, and 538 individuals, including those convicted of serious crimes like child sexual abuse, have been detained in the crackdown.

In a statement on X, Leavitt said, “Promises made. Promises kept,” referencing President Donald Trump’s hardline stance on immigration enforcement. The operation focuses on those accused of serious crimes, such as rape and sexual misconduct, with those arrested being deported as part of the overall effort to secure U.S. borders.

Meanwhile, India reasserted its intention to continue dealing with illegal immigration. The New Delhi-based Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that it is indeed willing to cooperate in facilitating the return of Indian nationals who are overstaying in the U.S. or otherwise living there illegally. “We are against illegal immigration, especially because it is linked to several forms of organized crime,” said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

The effort comes with new executive orders issued by Trump enforcing border security, including proposing to speed up deportations for those immigrants without permanent legal status. The drive was backed by a new bill the Republican-led House passed into law requiring arrest and detention for unauthorized immigrants in crimes involving violence.
