OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (Diya TV) – After a deflating loss in Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder wasted no time reminding the basketball world just how dangerous they really are. The Thunder cruised to a 123–107 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals, evening the series at one game apiece.
The game flipped in the second quarter, when OKC erupted for a 19–2 run that blew the doors off what had been a competitive start. The Thunder led by 18 at halftime and never looked back.
At the heart of it all was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The league MVP put together a 34-point performance, adding 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. But this wasn’t a one-man show. The Thunder had five players score in double figures, including Alex Caruso, who came off the bench to pour in 20 points, and Aaron Wiggins, who caught fire in the second quarter to finish with 18. Jalen Williams (19 points) and Chet Holmgren (15 points) also rebounded from off-nights in Game 1.
Defensively, Oklahoma City put the clamps on. Tyrese Haliburton was held to just 17 points, and no Indy player cracked the 20-point threshold. The Thunder closed out hard on shooters and made life uncomfortable for the Pacers all night, limiting them to just 14/40 from three.
With the win, the Thunder improve to 17–2 following losses this season and send the series back to Indiana with momentum on their side. Game 3 is set for Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse where the Pacers will look to respond to Oklahoma City’s statement win.
