DALLAS (Diya TV) — Prabhu Patil, president and chief executive of Prolim, was honored with the “2017 Entrepreneurial Success of the Year Award” by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Dallas, Texas, in recognition of his achievements and role in driving the nation’s economy.
Patil founded Prolim Global Corporation, a leading product lifecycle management software product and services company, based in Farmington Hills, Mich. in 2005. With a catalogue of experience spanning across more than two decades, his hard work, innovative ideas and dedication have contributed immensely to the growth of the community.
Having extensive experience in successfully providing IT, engineering, consulting and outsourced solutions across industries, Patil is behind the concept, design and implementation of complex global delivery models across continents and countries, the organization said in a press release.
Patil completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mysore, received his master’s from the PSG College of Technology and finally his MBA from the University of Michigan.
He formerly served as a project manager of IT consulting at IBM, senior manager at Siemens and EDS, and president and board of directors chair at nonprofit VSNA. He has also served on the board at the Dallas Business Club and PLM World.
Linda McMahon, the Small Business Association’s newest administrator, presented Patil with the award during a May 4 ceremony at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel in Texas.
