WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — Natalie Harp has become one of the most visible aides in President Donald Trump’s inner circle, frequently accompanying him at White House events and on trips while helping manage information and social media posts.
The 35-year-old executive assistant drew renewed attention this week after Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff mentioned her during a Senate speech. Ossoff questioned why Harp traveled with Trump on a plane after the president left Turkey last month.
Harp grew up in California in a conservative Christian family. Her path to Trump’s political circle began after a serious health crisis.
During Trump’s first term, he signed the Right to Try Act, which expanded access to experimental treatments for some patients with serious illnesses. Harp, who had bone cancer, later credited the law with helping her receive treatment after chemotherapy failed.
She spoke about her experience at the 2020 Republican National Convention and later joined an advisory board for Trump’s 2020 campaign.
After the election, Harp worked as a host at One America News Network before leaving in 2022 and joining Trump’s next presidential campaign.
Harp now serves as executive assistant to the president, but her role extends beyond traditional administrative duties. She is frequently seen near Trump in the Oval Office and travels with him aboard Air Force One.
She has been nicknamed the “human printer” because she carries a portable printer and provides Trump with printed news stories, social media posts and other material.
Harp also assists with Trump’s Truth Social account, sometimes typing posts as he dictates them.
Her access has led some journalists and White House sources to describe her as a gatekeeper and trusted member of Trump’s inner circle.
The White House defended Harp after questions arose about her reported presence during Trump’s plane switch following his trip to Turkey.
New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan have also reported on Harp’s close relationship with Trump and her unusual level of access.
Harp’s brother, Preston Harp, told CNN that she has admired Trump for years and views him as someone who helped save her life.
While her official title is executive assistant, Harp’s proximity to Trump and role in managing the information he receives have made her a prominent figure in his administration.
