LOS ANGELES (Diya TV) — Los Angeles could see it’s first Indian American Mayor. That’s if Jessica Lall wins. The local business leader and community activist declared her intention to run in one of the largest and diverse communities in the U.S. Lall is bi-racial and is the daughter of an Indian father and White mother.
Justice for an Indian American psychiatrist killed by his patient in Wichita, Kansas. 26 year old Umar Rashid Dutt pleaded guilty to first degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing Dr. Achutha Reddy more than 160 times and and running him over with his car more than four years ago.
Indian American Nuclear Engineer Bhavya Lal will lead NASA’s newly-created Office of Technology, Policy and Strategy. Lal is a Biden political appointee who has held several positions at the agency since the inauguration.
