SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Dr. Nirupama Vemuri, an Indian American nephrologist at Sierra View Nephrology, in Porterville, Calif., has been selected for her clinical excellence while delivering the highest standards of patient care and as such named as a recipient in this year’s ‘Top Doctor’ awards.
Vemuri, a highly experienced Nephrologist and Internist, has been practicing for more than two decades. Her medicine career began in 1995 after she graduated from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India.
She currently practices at the Sierra View Medical Center.
She arrived in the U.S. and completed an internship and her residency at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She is dually board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, the latter of which she is considered an industry expert and has garnered an internationally respected reputation. She treats a wide range of conditions, including Dialysis, chronic kidney disease, renal artery arteriosclerotic disease, kidney stones, Hypertension, Diabetes and acidosis. She also provides treatment in the fields of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
