VANCOUVER (Diya TV) — The four men accused in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar have a date set for their next court appearance. A case management conference will take place February 11, 2025, and they will also appear in court on February 12th.
Despite conflicting media and social media reports, Diya TV has confirmed that all four defendants, Karan Brar, Amandeep Singh, Kamalpreet Singh and Karanpreet Singh, are in custody. Recently, three of the accused made an appearance before the Supreme Court via video and the fourth was represented by counsel.
Nijjar was found dead in June 2023 in Surrey, British Columbia, and his death has inflamed tensions between Canada and India.
