SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Indian American Vimal Kapur will take over as Honeywell CEO. He has more than three decades of experience leading the diversified manufacturer’s various businesses. The 57-year-old Kapur will take over the top role on June 1, roughly 10 months after he was appointed Honeywell’s president and chief operating officer.

In Massachusetts, Indian American Tejal Mehta has taken the oath to become the first justice of the Ayer District Court. She has served as an associate justice with the same court and promised to make a real impact to the community and treat people with compassion

Director Kartiki Gonsalves and producer Guneet Monga  claimed Oscars after their short documentary “The Elephant Whisperers” won at the Academy Awards. The documentary focuses on an orphaned elephant in the care of a couple and is the first Indian documentary to win in this category.
