SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — In Florida, Indian American Florida state candidate Rishi Bagga is holding on to a razor thin lead in the House District 35 race. Last check, the civil attorney is ahead by only a few dozen votes. The winner will face Republican House member Fred Hawkins who won his party’s primary.
In New York, two Indian American Democrats are out after being defeated in Congressional primaries. Suraj Patel finished third to Representative Jerry Nadler in the 12th District. And Reema Rasool is conceding the race to her opponent Robert Zimmerman in the race for a House seat in the Third Congressional District.
