SAN DIEGO (Diya TV) — India’s ambassador to the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu hosted a massive reception aboard the INS Saptura. The ship’s visit to San Diego was historic because it was the first time an Indian naval warship docked on the West Coast. Indian American commanding officer Captain Saket Khanna greeted Sandhu and underscored the strengthening relationship between both navies.
Indian American Rishi Bagga is running for a Florida House seat but says his lawn signs keep getting taken or vandalized. Even the ones on his own property. He claims associates from another campaign are doing this, but would not elaborate any further or name the people allegedly involved.
Canadian space entrepreneur Aathira Preetharani has been selected for an astronaut training program at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences. If she completes her training, she would become the third astronaut of Indian descent heading to space.
