PLANO, Texas (Diya TV) — On Wednesday August 24th, a woman identified as Esmeralda Armendarez-Upton, harassed and threatened a group of Indian woman.
A video of the encounter is spreading on social media. There has now been a report filed against Upton and Upton has been arrested for assault and making terroristic threats.
In the video Upton can be heard yelling profanity and racist remarks such as, “Go back to India. You curry-assed people are ruining this country”.
Esmeralda Armendarez-Upton is a realtor for California Federal Bank. She is a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas.
