SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – According to reports, Indian American Nishad Singh is looking to make a deal with authorities who are now investigating the massive fallout over failed crypto currency exchange FTX. Singh was a former director of engineering at the company and a close confidant of Sam Bankman Fried, the disgraced founder now facing federal fraud charges. Such meetings often include an offer of “limited immunity” to encourage people like Singh to speak freely. Singh has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the 17th annual Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. It commemorates the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa in 1915, and his role in India’s independence movement. Modi went on to call the diaspora the brand ambassadors of the country and said they distinguished themselves all over the world.
“Naatu Naatu,” a song from the hit Telugu-language film “RRR,” was the unexpected and historic winner for best original song at the Golden Globes Tuesday, beating out Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
