WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — After much confusion on whether or not Quantico star Priyanka Chopra would be attending this year’s White House Correspondents Dinner, the Indian-American actress confirmed via Twitter she plans to be at the annual event.

Previously, Hollywood news website Deadline had reported Chopra would not be in attendance due to a scheduling conflict.

“The D.C. shindig is just days away, but the guest list for this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner is still in flux. On the dropping-off list is Quantico‘s Priyanka Chopra and The Good Wife‘s Alan Cumming. Both have had to miss out on being USA Today‘s guests at the 90th annual dinner due to production scheduling issues,” Dominic Patten wrote at the time.

At the event, Chopra will be seated next to Kim Kardashian’s sister, Kendall, as well as fellow actors Rosario Dawson, Alan Cumming, Miles Teller and Neve Campbell.

The 2016 rendition of the event will be the final of president Barack Obama’s tenure, and will be hosted by comedian Larry Wilmore. It will take place at the Washington Hilton.
