NEW DELH (Diya TV) — Pakistan is granting permission to arch-rival India to use its land route to ship wheat to neighboring Afghanistan where millions of people face hunger as a harsh winter sets in. Pakistan was criticized for blocking India and allowing food aid to sit idle at the border for months. Islamabad now says it will also match India’s generosity to Afghanistan. 

The latest data shows the number of first-time international students enrolling at U.S. universities decreased dramatically by 46 percent amid the Covid-19 pandemic. But despite challenges due to travel restrictions and bans, America is still the top choice for Indian and Chinese students studying abroad.

The startup scene in Pakistan is having a breakout year. More money has flowed into that country’s nascent technology sector during 2021 than in the previous six years combined, with investors from the U.S., Singapore and the United Arab Emirates joining the rush.
