SEATTLE (Diya TV) — Missing for two days in Seattle, Indian American Saurabh Gupte was safely found and is back with his family. Police say he was last seen on taking out the garbage in his condo complex, then mysteriously disappeared. Gupte is married and has a four month old child. Investigators would not say where he was found. And at this time, they are not sharing any more information about the circumstances of this case.
A French diplomat is calling India a key partner in its fight against terror financing and says the “No Money for Terror Conference” will take place in Delhi later this year. France is no stranger to terrorism, still reeling from several attacks by Islamists during the past few years.
Indian documentary “Writing With Fire” has been nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Documentary Feature category. Directed by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh the film chronicles the rise of India’s only newspaper run by Dalit women.
