SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — In what appears to be a coordinated attack, several Mahatma Gandhi statues across the nation have been defaced and vandalized. The Consulate Generals of India in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York City are condemning these attacks. Authorities are still investigating and looking for suspects. The motives remain unclear at this time. Last year, vandals also sawed off the head of a different Gandhi statue in Davis, California.
