WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — With four million people, Indian Americans are just a small part of the nation’s population. But politically, their impact is rising, as the community has given $3 million to 2020 presidential campaigns and counting.

India is close to signing a $2 billion plus deal for naval helicopters through a direct government purchase from the United States by the end of this year.

The US State Department Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, the Hindu American Foundation and the Indo-American Kashmir Forum co-hosted an event about “Hindus of Kashmir, beginning with a screening of HAF’s new mini-documentary “History of the Kashmir Conflict“. 

Dr. Amarjit Singh Marwah, who was Dalip Singh Saund’s campaign manager and lifelong philanthropist, once again played host to the community, as the South Asian American Digital Archive celebrated their 11th anniversary at his home in Malibu.
