WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — When asked to react to India’s denial of having President Trump intervene on India’s behalf regarding Kashmir, White House Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway said the U.S. has a “very good and growing relationship with Mr. Modi and the Indian government,” but did not address the matter directly.

India’s Minister of External Affairs also downplayed the controversy over President Trump’s remarks on Kashmir, saying India’s ties with Washington remains strong. MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, “it is time to move on,” adding “India-U.S. ties are multifaceted; we have broad and deep convergences across a range of issues.”

The U.S. Office of Management and Budget is increasing in the minimum investment amount requirement from $500,000 to $900,000 for EB-5 investor visas commonly used in business.

India is finalizing a $4 billion plan to build at least four Tesla-style gigafactories to manufacture batteries, as the country prepares to switch to electric vehicles to curb pollution and dependence on foreign oil.
