WASHINGTON D.C. (Diya TV) – In Pennsylvania, an Indian American father is dead after being hit by a car in what appears to be a tragic accident. Family members say 39 year old Pritesh Patel was on his bike heading to Walmart so he could pick up Pokemon cards and insulin for his child. Officials say Patel was not in the crosswalk when this incident occurred. The driver stayed at the scene.
Harvard Law School student Apsara Iyer is the new president of the prestigious Harvard Law Review, becoming the first Indian-American to hold the role at the esteemed journal in its 136-year history. Iyer says she aims to include more editors in the process of reviewing and selecting articles and upholding the publication’s reputation for high-quality work.
