SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – The latest numbers are in. Officials say last year the U.S. granted a record number of visas to students from India. That’s Nearly 125,000 visas which means more Indian students are now studying in the U.S. than from any other country. Some of these students say U.S. colleges offer a more hands-on and a less theoretical approach than schools in India.
India sent Turkey relief aid, a mobile hospital and specialized search and rescue teams to help the country in the wake of the devastating earthquake and multiple aftershocks that killed more than 4,000 people. Two more flights are expected to carry more relief items, including medical supplies to Turkey while another one is set to be sent to Syria.
Indian music composer and producer Ricky Kej won his third Grammy Award for the album ‘Divine Tides’ with rock-legend Stewart Copeland. This critically acclaimed album contains 9 songs and 8 music videos that were filmed around the world from the exquisite beauty of the Indian Himalayas to the icy forests of Spain.
