MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (DIYA TV) – Tech giant Google and entrepreneurial kickstarter TechHub have combined forces on a new initiative named “Startup India,” in the effort to bring more support, benefits and opportunity to help startup companies in India scale up their business models. Startups require a lot of help in their first stages, finding the right sip trunk providers as well as getting them onto the necessary software is at the forefront.
TechHub incubates 700-plus startups globally, including in India, and the company said in a statement they’re hopeful the new partnership with Google will foster a more rampant growth in the variety of products and services that will be provided moving forward.
“In Bengaluru, we see a huge variety of startups creating innovative products, and we want to help them succeed both in India and all around the world. TechHub and Google for Entrepreneurs is a strong partnership that will empower Indian entrepreneurs to go global from the very beginning,” Elizabeth Varley, TechHub’s global co-founder and CEO, said in a statement.
David Grunwald, Google for Entrepreneurs’ head of EMEA Partnerships, said: “We are excited to expand our work with TechHub beyond Google for Entrepreneurs’ Campus network, where we have collaborated successfully over a number of years. TechHub’s ‘community first’ values and their focus on supporting founders and startups with education and programs align perfectly with the goals of Google for Entrepreneurs.”
As mentioned previously, TechHub members are supported all over the world – now benefactors in areas such as Bengaluru, Riga, Bucharest, Madrid, Warsaw and London will have access to the enhanced program, which includes the all-seeing eyes of Google. TechHub has enlisted members from over 60 countries, every member will have access to Google’s services in six international cities. Additionally, TechHub members have access to each of the company’s facilities worldwide.
The company was founded in 2010 by Varley, a serial entrepreneur, and Mike Butcher of TechCrunch Europe – its headquartered in London. Google for Entrepreneurs provides financial support and its own resources to a variety of co-working spaces and community programs across 125 countries.
