BRAMPTON, CANADA (Diya TV) — In a recent operation, Peel Regional Police’s Specialized Enforcement Bureau (SEB) apprehended five Brampton men on firearm-related and drug offenses, along with breach of conditions. The arrests occurred after SEB officers, assisted by the Peel Regional Police Tactical Unit, located three men in Vaughan, leading to charges of unauthorized firearm possession. A subsequent traffic stop in Brampton resulted in the arrest of two more individuals on similar charges.

Amandeep Singh (21), Ramanpreet Singh (30), Maninder Singh (21), Swaranpreet Singh (20), and Jobanpreet Singh (20) are facing a range of charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearms, and failure to comply with release orders. The arrests were part of an ongoing SEB investigation.

During the operations, the police discovered a FN 509 9mm pistol with a 24-round extended magazine, loaded with 20 rounds, in the possession of the accused parties. In a subsequent traffic stop, two men were found with two extended magazines containing 9mm ammunition.

All five Indo-Canadian Sikh men were held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the investigators at the Specialized Enforcement Bureau Unit.
