SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV)Canary Technologies has secured $50 million in Series C funding to expand its AI-powered solutions for the hospitality industry. CEO and Co-Founder Harman Singh Narula announced that the funding will enhance partnerships with existing investors and drive innovation in their AI capabilities.

Currently, Canary Technologies provides AI solutions to about 20,000 hoteliers worldwide, including major brands like Wyndham, Marriott, IHG, Hilton, and Four Seasons. The company partnered with Wyndham in September to launch a guest experience platform featuring AI-driven property messaging, allowing guests to text hotels directly. This platform also supports mobile check-in and checkout.

Recently, Marriott and IHG have adopted Canary’s digital tipping solutions. “With Canary AI already deployed in some of the world’s largest hotel brands, we’re excited to enhance our capabilities and broaden its use across the industry,” said Narula. The new funding will help build a world-class team focused on innovation.

The hospitality industry shows a significant demand for AI products, Narula noted. “ChatGPT is the fastest-growing app ever, and we’re seeing the same enthusiasm for AI in the hospitality industry,” said SJ Sawhney, President and Co-Founder of Canary Technologies. “AI can supercharge operations and enhance guest experiences by assisting understaffed front desks and automatically creating service tickets.”

Other industry professionals agree on AI’s growing impact. Eddie Schneider, Global Brand Director at Marriott’s Renaissance Hotels & Le Méridien, emphasized the unstoppable demand for AI across industries.

The latest funding round, led by Insight Partners, included participation from existing investors F-Prime Capital, Thayer Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Commerce Ventures. This round brings Canary’s total funding to nearly $100 million.
