WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — Suresh Mukund, a young choreographer from Mumbai, will lead a troupe of 30 Bollywood dancers to perform at the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on Friday.

The 29-year-old described his excitement at the opportunity during an interview with the Press Trust of India.

“This is nothing like a dream come true for me. Its a lifetime chance. I, along with my assistant Karthik Priyadarshan are working hard to train Indian performers, to match their steps with American performers since a few days,” he said.

Mukund has choreographed a seven-minute medley of Indian classical and Bollywood dance that will take place shortly before the President-elect’s swearing-in. Back in India, Mukund belongs to the Kings United India dance group, which won a world championship in 2015.

Former Miss India Manasvi Mamgai will dance at the front during a ceremony that is being held at the West Lawn of the Capitol building.

Tonight, Indian-American supporters of the Republican are expected to throw an inauguration ball to celebrate the day’s events. The ball will also honor Indian Americans who have been nominated by the billionaire real estate mogul to key positions of his presidential administration, such as South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who has been nominated by Trump to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

According to the official statement of APAAC and the National Committee of Asian American Republicans, the inaugural ball will feature celebrations that will be attended by dignitaries and presidential appointees. The event is taking place at Washington D.C.’s Mayflower Hotel.
