TEL AVIV (Diya TV) – Ten Nepali citizens lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Israel orchestrated by the Islamist militant group Hamas. The attack, confirmed by the Nepali government, resulted in casualties and injuries among Nepali nationals working and studying in Israel.

Arjun Ghimire, First Secretary at the Nepali Embassy in Israel, revealed that the bodies of ten Nepalis have been identified. There are still some Nepali nationals missing, and others have been injured and are in critical condition. The casualty count may rise as more information becomes available.

Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud provided details on the impact of the attack, stating that approximately 4,500 Nepali nationals work as caregivers in Israel, with an additional 265 students participating in the Israeli government’s “learn and earn” program.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal led a meeting to evaluate the situation and ensure the well-being of Nepalis.

As the conflict between the Israeli military and Hamas intensifies, thousands of casualties and injuries have now been reported.
