The Mighty Indians Have Fallen…

Well that sounds dramatic, and unfortunately it’s true: the much feared Indian batting line up “Bled Blue” yesterday as the Kiwi’s spun a web around them. Their young spinners rose up to the challenge as they consistently most Indian batsmen to play early and down the wrong line on a pitch that catered for an Indian win. This is a huge confidence boost to the team from down under, who were also the runner ups at last year’s ICC World Cup. We’re now expecting them to lead this group along with India or Pakistan, which makes the India-Pakistan match-up even more exciting. If that’s even possible!

The Mighty Chris Gayle Has Risen…

England got schooled on Wednesday after what they believed was a good total. Chris Gayle, however, had other plans as he beat the English bowlers all around the Mumbai ground. It’s always fun to see the West Indian flair when they’re on song, and if Chris Gayle continues to dominate the way he did tonight, we’d love to see their dancing spirit.

The Mighty (and young) Afridi Delivers…

Afridi led the batting brigade against Bangladesh with 49 runs in 19 balls to essentially shut Bangladesh out of the contest. We love watching the “young” and restless Afridi bat and it always keeps the bracket more exciting as Pakistan finds it’s winning ways.
