While I have received the Michelin Star 8 times before, today was different. I felt it was for some higher purpose, it was like a tribute, it was like a promise to my land and to my people. Khanna, originally from Amritsar, India, is famous for introducing Indians to American plates. He has prepared meals for former United States President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and even the Dalai Lama.
