Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants more renewable power in India. He says it “will help save lives by reducing pollution in major cities and help in the country’s fight against climate change.
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris officially marked the White House’s first ever Maternal Health Day of Action when she hosted a summit with lawmakers, Cabinet secretaries and celebrities. Harris issued a nationwide call to action to the private and public sectors and announce a series of federal reports and guidance, among other things aimed at improving maternal health in the United States.
Virtual coupon company Groupon has named Kedar Deshpande to be the company’s next chief executive officer. Deshpande spent the past decade at Zappos in a variety of roles, including as CEO.
