SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – England’s Home Secretary Suella Braverman is quitting her post, as British Prime Minister Liz Truss’ administration struggles to get traction. The British Indian lawmaker said she resigned over the use of a personal email address that breached ministerial rules, but many analysts point her downfall to recent remarks on colonization & Indian migrants that put an immediate chill on UK-India relations.
U.S. leaders say they expect sustained action against terrorist groups from Pakistan. This comes after President Joe Biden called Pakistan one of most dangerous nations in the world in reference to its unchecked arsenal of nuclear weapons. At the same time the U.S. State Deparment says it wants to cooperate with Pakistan on global terrorist threats.
A prominent Indian-American couple just donated $1 million towards a manufacturing laboratory at the University of Houston. Brij Aggarwal and his wife Sunita are alums and credit the school for helping them build a successful restaurant management firm.
