Hot off the heels of yesterday’s Coronavirus task force briefing, in which a shadow of uncertainty was cast in regards to the United States ability to maintain its influx of Hydroxychloroquine from India, President Trump has announced that after speaking to Prime Minister Modi that India will preserve these supply relations. 

Trump declared that the United States has accumulated over 29 million doses of the drug that he anticipates will quell the COVID-19 pandemic, despite contrary opinions from medical professionals.

Today’s events continue to be indicative of the relationship that the two world leaders have constructed, as India’s previous decision to ban all distribution of Hydroxychloroquine has effectively been reversed in regards to the United States. 

Trump personally thanked the Prime Minister it today’s press conference, and that the gesture would be remembered.
