SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Diya TV) — In a nod to his leadership in the global tech industry, Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, received the TiE Lifetime Achievement Award at the TiE Global Summit 2025, held during TiEcon at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Presented by TiE Silicon Valley President Anita Manwani, the award recognizes Nadella’s critical role in reshaping Microsoft and driving innovation across the tech sector. The honor celebrates Nadella’s mission to empower individuals and organizations worldwide through technology—a mission he has championed since taking the helm at Microsoft in 2014.
“Satya Nadella has exemplified what it means to lead with vision, integrity, and relentless innovation,” Manwani said during the award presentation. “His impact extends far beyond Microsoft. He has influenced how technology shapes the global economy and how leaders think about transformation.”
Under Nadella’s leadership, Microsoft has evolved from a legacy software company into a global cloud powerhouse. He oversaw the company’s successful pivot to Azure, expanded its reach into artificial intelligence, and championed a culture of collaboration and inclusivity. Microsoft’s market value has more than tripled during his tenure, reinforcing his influence on the company’s growth and the broader industry.
TiE, originally founded as The Indus Entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, focuses on fostering entrepreneurship globally. Its Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals who demonstrate long-term commitment to innovation and mentorship in technology and business.
In his acceptance remarks, Nadella emphasized the importance of democratizing technology and ensuring it benefits people from all walks of life. “We have a responsibility to not only imagine the future but to build it in ways that are inclusive, accessible, and meaningful,” he said.
