FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. (Diya TV) — Sandeep Arora has joined BD as executive vice president for global business solutions, the company announced. The appointment marks another major milestone in Arora’s nearly three-decade career in global business operations and transformation.
The New Jersey-based medical technology company selected Arora to lead its global business solutions division. In the role, he will focus on improving operational efficiency, scaling delivery systems, and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.
BD is one of the world’s largest medical technology companies. The company employs more than 70,000 people worldwide and develops products and solutions for medical discovery, diagnostics, and health care delivery. Arora enters the role with extensive experience in business transformation, shared services, and global operations. Before joining BD, he served as the head of global business services at The Clorox Company.
During his time at Clorox, Arora helped build the company’s global business services capability from the ground up. He described the experience as brief but impactful. In a LinkedIn post, Arora said the new opportunity aligns with his professional values and long-term goals.
“BD’s purpose of advancing the world of health inspires me, and I am energized by the team’s commitment to operational excellence, scalable delivery, and measurable impact,” Arora wrote. “I am eager to collaborate across the organization to accelerate value and drive sustainable outcomes.”
Arora also praised his former team at Clorox for continuing to expand the company’s business services operations.
Throughout his career, Arora has held leadership positions at several multinational corporations. He served as a corporate officer for Sysco Business Services at Sysco. He also worked as senior vice president of transformation and shared services at XPO Logistics.
In addition, Arora held the role of global operations and capabilities lead at Mondelēz International. Industry experts often view such positions as critical for improving efficiency and streamlining global operations. His broad background in operations and business strategy could help BD strengthen its internal systems and improve service delivery across regions.
Arora’s appointment has also drawn attention in India because of his academic roots. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and law from Utkal University. He is also a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
As more Indian-origin executives take leadership roles at major global companies, Arora’s rise reflects the growing international presence of Indian professionals in business and technology leadership.
BD continues to expand its influence in the global healthcare industry through investments in medical technology and operational innovation. The company develops products used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics worldwide.
The company said its mission centers on improving clinical outcomes, increasing operational efficiency, and expanding access to health care services. Arora said he hopes to build on the company’s existing foundation and create a “world-class performance and delivery platform” that can serve as a strategic asset for the enterprise.
