LOS ANGELES (Diya TV) — After her appearances at the Academy Awards and Emmys in 2016, Indian-American actress Priyanka Chopra will make her Golden Globes debut in 2017, she will a presenter at the 74th edition of the awards gala.

Chopra, who has garnered international acclaim for her work, has accomplished a similar feat with her work on the hit television show, Quantico. She will present awards alongside co-presenters Steve Carell and Anna Kendrick.

The announcement was made via the Golden Globe official Twitter account, and read: “We’re also pleased to announce Timothy Olyphant, Justin Theroux, and Priyanka Chopra as presenters for the 74th Golden Globe Awards.” Other details about the category and along with which star will she present the award has not be announced yet.

The Golden Globe Awards recognize excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. The 74th edition, which will be hosted by late-night television personality Jimmy Fallon, will take place on Jan. 8.

After a busy 2016, Chopra has been on holiday back in India with her family. She’s set to make her silver screen debut in 2017 with the Hollywood production of Baywatch, in which she starts alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Chopra has been reviewing scripts for 2017 projects, and has set a personal goal of at least two Bollywood films this year.
