NEW YORK (Diya TV) — The National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) has launched the US CEO Forum at the Consulate General of India in New York. The new initiative aims to deepen collaboration between India and the United States in technology, innovation, and talent development.
The theme of the Forum is “India Tech for America’s Growth.” The focus is to showcase how Indian technology companies are helping shape the global digital future. Nasscom, a leading Indian trade association for the technology sector, created the Forum to connect top Indian tech leaders with influential U.S. stakeholders.
The US CEO Forum is positioned as a top-tier leadership platform. It promotes strategic dialogue across innovation, enterprise growth, and policy alignment. It also focuses on creating new opportunities in talent development and global market access. Ravi Kumar S., CEO of Cognizant, will lead the Forum as Chair.
Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, will serve as Co-Chair. The Forum includes several prominent figures from the Indian tech ecosystem. Leaders from companies like Wipro, Genpact, Tech Mahindra, Coforge, and Persistent Systems are taking part. The platform brings together the CEOs of major Indian firms operating in the U.S., including:
Srinivas Pallia of Wipro, Mohit Joshi of Tech Mahindra, Sudhir Singh of Coforge, R Srikrishna of Hexaware Technologies, Sandeep Kalra of Persistent Systems, and Partha De Sarkar of Hinduja Global Solutions. These leaders represent the deep presence and continued growth of Indian technology in the United States.
Rajesh Nambiar, President of Nasscom, called the launch a major step in boosting the India-U.S. tech partnership. “This platform brings together industry leaders to foster meaningful collaboration,” Nambiar said. “We aim to explore new frontiers in innovation, talent, and investment.”
He added that the Forum supports a vision for a shared future powered by technology and common values. It will work to deliver real impact across both economies and communities. The Consulate General of India in New York hosted the launch event. Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, the Consul General, praised the timing and significance of the Forum. “It has the potential to act as a force multiplier for the India-U.S. tech partnership,” he said.
The Forum’s efforts align with the $500 billion bilateral trade goal set by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump. By fostering open dialogue and cross-border cooperation, the Forum aims to drive business outcomes that support this trade vision.
It will also work to create stronger, innovation-led digital ecosystems that are secure and resilient. Key focus areas include artificial intelligence, semiconductors, clean energy technologies, and workforce upskilling. The US CEO Forum will serve as a long-term engagement platform. It is built to support the India-U.S. tech corridor, one of the most dynamic partnerships in the global economy today.
