DIYA TV- “Yes My Accent is Real: And Some Other Things I Haven’t Told you” is published by Atria Books and written by one the geekiest characters from the hit television show “The Big Bang Theory”. He plays the character of an astrophysicist who is obsessed with comic books, Star War movies. He is known for his innocence, his lovable character and for a fact that his accent is different who is named Kunal Nayyar aka Raj Koothrappali from the sitcom.
Kunal Nayyar, born in London and was raised in New Delhi, India. After his schooling Kunal moved to The United States of America to pursue his Bachelors in Business from University of Portland, Oregon. While attending college, he developed a tendency towards acting and played several school plays. Furthermore, he completed his masters in Fine Arts from Temple University.
At present, the 34 year old actor has come up with his latest novel ‘Yes My Accent is Real: And Some Other Things I Haven’t Told you’, which is set to release on the day of Season 9 premiere. “Not many people know me other than the sitcom version of me”, says Kunal where he shares his life journey about his ups and downs of his life phases, the American dream, the cross-cultural-ism and finally about how he fell in love with his beautiful wife- Neha Kapur.
