NEW DELHI (Diya TV) — India is keeping the option open of purchasing oil from Iran, despite America’s vow to impose sanctions should they pursue that path. India’s foreign minister Sushma Swaraj met with her Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif to say a final decision will be made once the Indian election concludes May 23rd.
Iran is the third-largest oil supplier for India after Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Indian American judge Amit Mehta is expediting a decision on President Trump’s effort to stop a subpoena for financial records from his accounting firm. Mehta is a U.S. District Court judge for the District of Columbia.
