Just in time for the spooky season, It Lives Inside is coming to theaters. Diya TV’s Kari Lane sits down with writer/director Bishal Dutta to talk about his feature film debut, implementing universal themes but with a personal touch, practical versus digital effects and more.
Synopsis: Sam is your average teenager, desperate to fit in at school but rejecting her Indian culture and family in the process. However, a mythological demon spirit latches onto her former best friend and Sam must come to terms with her heritage and find it in herself to defeat it.
It Lives Inside comes to theaters Friday, September 22nd.
