SAN DIEGO (Diya TV) — For the first time ever, an Indian Sci-Fi film takes over Comic-Con’s Hall H. Drummers lined up as dancers performed holding candles while veteran South Indian actor Kamal Hassan, director Nag Ashwin, and others took stage, while Bollywood’s “Angry Young Man” from the 70’s – Amitabh Bacchan joined virtually.

Despite the SAG-AFTRA strike, this year’s Comic-Con is as packed as ever except, Project K didn’t quite manage to fill up Hall H. However what Hollywood hasn’t quite recognized yet, the fans of these mega stars certainly didn’t miss! They showed up loud and proud.

As they debuted Project K’s trailer, fans cheered so loudly for an encore, that they had to play it again.

It’s exciting to see sci-fi and Hindu scriptures collide, as Indian cinema makes its way into uncharted genres. The film is set to release next year.
