WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — The Indian embassy in the nation’s capital hosted a Christmas celebration Thursday evening, an event that was attended by a large number of guests from the Christian and other communities.

Ambassador Sarna welcomed the guests himself for the event, which included an invocation from Rev. Samuel Honnappa, Pastor of Memorial First India United Methodist Church, located in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Others who spoke at the event included Elder Ted N. C. Wilson, President of the Seventh-day Adventist World HQ and a performance from the choir of St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church of Washington, led by Rev. Fr. Laby George Panakkamattom.
