WILMINGTON, Delaware (Diya TV) — The Biden campaign launched their Indian Americans for Biden platform, an outline of how a Biden-Harris administration would serve America’s fastest growing and most affluent demographic. From addressing hate and bigotry to the security needs of houses of worship, the campaign has more than a half-dozen topics they hope will entice Indian Americans to support their ticket.
Then we’ll speak with two GOP operatives familiar with how the Trump campaign will reach Indian Americans, David Dhillon and Shalli Kumar. Dhillon is on the Indian Voices for Trump advisory council and former elected official. And Kumar is the founder of the Republican Hindu Coalition, a group that pushed the Hindu American agenda onto the Trump platform back in 2016.
Police in Irving, Texas, are investigating death threats targeting Indian and Chinese IT workers. A letter sent to an Irving resident threatens to “shoot mercilessly” immigrants of Chinese and Indian descent in Information technology. Police believe the letter may have gone out to multiple people in other Texas cities as well. The suspect is still at large.
