Sergio Gor, the U.S. Ambassador to India, met Kash Patel to discuss joint efforts to counter transnational threats. During his visit, Gor also met Vice President JD Vance. The two leaders discussed the broader U.S.-India relationship and its growing importance in global politics. “Under President Trump’s leadership, the White House is fully engaged in the region,” Gor said.
The meetings come ahead of a planned White House dinner hosted by Donald Trump in Gors’ honor. The event highlights the political importance Washington places on its relationship with India.
Gor also met Vinay Mohan Kwatra, India’s ambassador to the United States. Both diplomats emphasized close coordination between their countries. Gor described Kwatra as a strong partner in advancing bilateral goals. Kwatra echoed the sentiment and said both sides continue to work toward shared objectives set by their leaders.
