LOS ANGELES (Diya TV) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation has added an Indian national from Punjab to its Most Wanted list over his alleged role in an international organized crime network that authorities say operated across the United States and India.
The FBI identified the suspect as Gurpreet Singh. Investigators allege that he played a key role in the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Organized Crime Group. According to the agency, the group engaged in drug trafficking, firearms offenses, and racketeering. It allegedly operated in California and several other parts of the United States while maintaining links to Punjab.
The FBI said a federal arrest warrant for Singh was issued on June 25, 2026, by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles. Investigators accused Singh of participating in a racketeer-influenced and corrupt organizations, or RICO, conspiracy.
According to the FBI, the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Organized Crime Group carried out drug-trafficking operations in the Central District of California and other locations. Investigators allege that the organization managed illegal narcotics distribution while also taking part in firearms-related crimes. The agency said the group operated as a transnational criminal organization with connections that stretched beyond U.S. borders.
The FBI recently highlighted Singh’s case in a public notice and on social media. In its statement, the agency said Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Organized Crime Group. The FBI also urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact law enforcement authorities.
Federal officials have not announced whether Singh remains in the United States or has left the country.
