NEW DELHI (Diya TV) — At least 27 people are dead and dozens injured following a massive fire in a building in the Indian capital of New Delhi. The large fire broke out at a four-story commercial building. Right now the cause remains under investigation. Officials say more than 60 people have been rescued.
Legendary Indian musician Pandit Shivkumar Sharma has passed away. He was 84 years old. According to several media reports, he was suffering from kidney-related issues for the last six months and died of cardiac arrest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mourned the death of the santoor legend.
Indian American pitcher Kumar Rocker has signed with the Independent League’s Tri-City Valleycats. The former Vanderbilt star was drafted by major league baseball’s New York Mets, but concerns about an arm injury sidelined negotiations.
