WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — Tensions remain high near the western border of China and India. Both sides are accusing each other of failing to move forward during a recent negotiation. China is arguing that India must accept the current status quo on the borders after its troops marched into Indian-claimed regions since March of last year.
Pope Francis has accepted an invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the country with around 20 million Roman Catholics. This comes after Prime Minister Modi recently embraced the Pope during his visit to the Vatican. It’s been more than 20 years since a Pope has visited India.
