SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Jujhar Khaira, the NHL’s third player of Indo-origin and Harnarayan Singh, a Sikh broadcaster who hosts Canada’s most famous television production, Hockey Night in Canada, were both recently honored during a session in the House of Parliament.

Jujhar Khaira learned to play hockey as a young boy in the streets of Surrey, British Columbia, a Sikh child and his little brother replayed over and over the moment they scored the game-winning goal in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. All while using a tennis ball.
