DALLAS (Diya TV) — Doctors say Indian American college student Bharti Shahani is brain dead after being trampled during Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston. The 22 year old Texas A&M student was a concert goer and suffered injuries during the crowd surge that killed 8 people. Authorities say Shahani was with her sister and cousin before getting separated in the crowd.
Yorktown New York Republican leader Tom Pomposello has resigned after calling town Councilman Vishnu Patel a racist slur during an election night celebration. And it was all caught on camera. The slur targets people from the Middle East. but Patel is Indian American and one of the few Asian Americans in elected office in the area.
Indian American teenagers Ishaan and Aanya Thakur, have made nearly $160,000 mining cryptocurrency. In the last seven months, the siblings have grown their operation substantially and now call their business Flifer Technologies.
