SILVER SPRING, Md. (Diya TV) — Aruna Miller will headline a major women’s leadership event in Silver Spring this week, bringing together local professionals for a morning focused on leadership, networking, and inspiration. The event, titled “Power and Purpose: Inaugural Women’s Leadership Exchange,” is organized by the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce. It is scheduled for April 23 and aims to highlight the experiences and achievements of women business leaders across the region.

“I am excited to announce I will be the Opening Keynote Speaker,” Miller wrote, adding that the gathering will offer “a dynamic morning of inspiration, connection, and leadership development.”

The event will also feature a panel discussion with local women business leaders. Speakers will share personal stories, career challenges,s and lessons learned. Organizers say the discussion will provide practical insights for attendees from different industries.

Event organizers designed the program to encourage collaboration and professional growth. They expect participants from various sectors, including business, government, and nonprofit organizations. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with peers and expand their professional networks. The event aims to create a supportive environment where women can exchange ideas and build lasting connections. The chamber said the initiative reflects its commitment to promoting diversity and leadership in the local business community. It also hopes the event will inspire the next generation of women leaders.

Admission costs $70 for chamber members and $100 for non-members. Organizers noted that ticket prices were set to increase after the close of business on April 20, encouraging early registration. The event is expected to draw strong attendance due to growing interest in leadership development programs and women-focused networking events in the region.
