NEW DELHI (Diya TV) – Apple CEO Tim Cook said India produced record revenue in a recent earnings call. Cook branded India as an “incredibly exciting market” poised for extensive expansion, particularly with the escalating number of individuals ascending into the middle class.

The latest fiscal report unveiled a new milestone for Apple, with the company’s revenue in India skyrocketing to nearly Rs 50,000 crore or roughly $6 billion in fiscal year 2023. Apple sales surged 48%. Cook added Apple’s two retail stores in India surpassed initial expectations.

The growth in revenue is largely attributed to its direct presence, with Apple establishing retail stores within India and the launch of online stores in both Vietnam and Chile.
