TEL AVIV, Israel (Diya TV) — A U.S. permanent resident card was discovered on the body of the terrorist who carried out a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday night, authorities said. The attacker, identified as 29-year-old Abdelaziz Kaddi from Morocco, wounded four people before being shot and killed at the scene.
According to documents published by a Kann news reporter, Kaddi’s U.S. green card showed he had been a permanent resident of the United States since September 2022. Officials also found on his body an Israeli tourist visa that shows he entered the country on January 18.
Some security officials are continuing the chase to know more about the attacker. According to reports, Magen David Adom’s ambulance service stated that two of the victims were reported to be in moderate condition, while the other two suffered minor injuries.
The attack occurred in the heart of Tel Aviv, adding to the growing concern over security in the city. Authorities are working to determine the motives behind the attack and whether it was part of a larger planned operation.
Kaddi’s identity and U.S. residency raise further questions about his background and potential connections. U.S. and Israeli officials are coordinating efforts to understand his actions and any possible links to extremist groups.
